Our Courses

This course is delivered over two days, and is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills for a trainee to carry out basic chainsaw maintenance, chain sharpening and the safe cutting of logs.

This course is delivered over four days, and is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills for a trainee to carry out the felling of forward leaning, upright and slightly backward leaning trees, up to a diameter of 380mm. The training also deals with the processing of felled trees and how to deal with a hung tree (undertaken with hand tools), where one tree has been felled into another tree.

This course is delivered over five days, and is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills for a trainee to climb open grown trees as well as the use of climbing spikes, leading on to rescue from a tree and standing stem using climbing spikes.
