Course description

This course is delivered over three/four days (depending on previous experience), and is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills for a trainee to carry out the felling of forward leaning, upright and slightly backward leaning trees, up to a diameter of 760mm. The training also deals with the processing of felled trees and how to deal with a hung tree (undertaken with a hand winch), where one tree has been felled into another tree.This training course will also provide, the required training for a trainee to undertake the NPTC City and Guild certificate of competence 0039-33, felling and processing medium trees above 380mm and up to 760mm.
