Course description

A CPD refresher course designed to refresh knowledge and competency skills and upgrade any/all adaptations to the qualifications within the past 3-5 years relative to frequent or infrequent users. The course shall deliver refresher knowledge in:
  • Pre-use Inspection: Checking the scissor lift for maintenance needs, faults, and structural integrity.
  • Safe Operation: Manoeuvring the machine, handling loads, and identifying hazards.
  • Site Assessment: Evaluating ground conditions, stability, and overhead obstacles.
  • Emergency Procedures: Understanding emergency lowering mechanisms. Legislation & Safety: Understanding PUWER, HASAWA, and LOLER regulations.
