This course is delivered over one day, and is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills for a trainee to carry out the safe use of a manually fed wood-chipper, the course contents includes: legislation, basic maintenance, and the practical use of a wood-chipper.This training course will also provide, the required training for a trainee to undertake the NPTC City and Guild certificate of competence 0020-61, safe use of a manually fed wood chipper.The NPTC assessment will require an additional half day if undertaken.
